Canadian Nationals 2016 : Top Eight – Game One: E.T.F. vs. Kate – The Métropole Grid

A full day of Swiss rounds narrows the competitive field at the 2016 Canadian Nationals down to eight final players. Those determined eight return for a second day of high-stakes Netrunning, to duke it out for the title of Canadian National Champion.

Game one is a return to core set staples, as Michigan’s Steven Jecmen pilots a sentry-heavy Engineering The Future against Montreal’s Julien Deville and his ‘one-turn-kill’ Kate. Are 14 clicks enough for the inventive Shaper to close out a game, or will the efficiency and speed of the reliable HB power through?

U.S. Nationals 2016 : Top Eight – Game One: Near-Earth Hub vs. Kate – The Métropole Grid

After a grueling day of Swiss rounds at the Origins Game Fair in Columbus, Ohio, eight players rise to the top of the 2016 Netrunner U.S. Nationals. After a well deserved night’s rest, day two brings the competitors back together on the convention hall floor, to duke it out for the title of U.S. National Champion.

Game one is a match-up between two fellow Ohioans: top-seed Josh Wilson and his murderous Near-Earth Hub, as he protects his servers from newcomer Michael Kuehm and his unconventionally destructive Kate.

Store Championship – Finals – Game 1: Near-Earth Hub vs. Kate – The Métropole Grid

Just weeks after the announced NAPD Most Wanted List, Montréal has their first Store Championship of the 2016 Netrunner season. Only one final month left before NAPD’s mandatory (and exciting) security upgrades come into effect, the runners and corporations of Montréal are allowed one last stand with their favourite phone-based runner economy and substantial HB ICE. Can Toronto visitor Aaron go the distance, all the way from loser’s bracket, besting Jerome’s fast-advance NEH?

Summer Kit III – Round 3, Game 2: Titan vs. Kate – The Métropole Grid

The third BD Cosmos Summer Kit of 2015 brings us our third match-up between our tried and true staple Shaper, Kate McCaffrey, and the influence flush financial branch of the Weyland Consortium, Titan Transnational. Will the hyper-aggressive expansions of our Titans in teal be any match for the unrivaled economy and multi-access of the tenacious Shaper? Anything worth doing is worth doing three times.

Summer Kit III – Round 2, Game 2: Titan vs. Kate – The Métropole Grid

Déja vu? The digital tinkerer returns as Kate sets her eyes on the plentiful servers of Weyland subsidiary, Titan Transnational. It seems this time that Titan has made some wise investments into Haas Bioroid efficiency procedures. How fast can we go? Are some new imported tricks any match for the unrelenting R&D pressure from our familiar Shaper friend? Anything worth doing is worth doing twice. Maybe even three times.

Summer Kit III – Round 1, Game 2: Titan vs. Kate – The Métropole Grid

BD Cosmos’s third Summer Kit continues as the digital tinkerer Kate McCaffrey sets her goggled eyes on the servers of the multi-national investment conglomerate, Titan Transnational. The hard working security staff at Titan have recently upgraded their servers with some beefy but power hungry ICE, a necessary improvement due to their upcoming public relations push. Sensing the challenge, Kate readies her tools and array of burner pads, alongside a combination hard work, good personal contacts, and just a bit of luck, and jacks in. Are the scheming minds at Titan Transnational any match for the precise attacks of the tinkerer herself?

Summer Kit II – Round 2, Game 1: Cybernetics Division vs. Kate – The Métropole Grid

Deep in the shadowy and industrious center of Chrome City, Haas-Bioroid’s very own Cybernetics Division never rests, as the bioroids work tirelessly, day and night, to produce the very finest consumer grade cybernetic modifications. The division offers unparalleled choice and power, allowing any mere human, with sufficient credits, that is, the possibility to ‘upgrade’ their frail bodies, and join the lucky group of self-proclaimed ‘chromeheads’. Will the curiosity of the digital tinkerer Kate McCaffrey lead her to expose dark corporate secrets hidden within these highly secured servers, or will she merely end up with quite the damaged brain?

Summer Kit – Round 3, Game 2: Kate vs. Blue Sun – The Métropole Grid

Game two of the third and final round of the Summer 2015 Tournament Kit at BD Cosmos in Laval on 07/23/2015! Continuing to prepare for the 2015 North American Netrunner Nationals at Gen Con, Jon tests ‘Congress Kate’, a shiny new flavour of Shaper. Will Kate’s high-memory rig and numerous shady contacts allow her to keep up with the economic heavyweight of Eric and his Weyland Consortium’s Blue Sun? May the cold war commence.
